Wednesday Nights

Wednesday Nights we have classes for all ages.

Adventure Kids (6:30-7:30 pm) is for children 2 yr. old - 5th Grade (lower level). The nursery is available for children up to 24 months (upper level).

The Ridge is home to our students 6-12 grade (student center).

Adult Classes are held in the sanctuary.

Choir meets in, well, the choir room.


All classes take place from 6:30-7:45pm.

Children's Ministry

M1COG loves our kids! We believe we have an important responsibility to instill the love of Jesus into the lives of our children. This ministry is for children 5th grade and younger.

Sunday Mornings

Each Sunday morning our children, ages 4-5th Grade, are invited to join us for AK Church. We begin with parents in the worship service then dismiss with their leaders. AK Church does not meet on the 1st Sunday of the month.


The Nursery is available for children birth-24 months. The Toddler Room is available for 2 & 3 year olds.


AK Sunday School begins at 9:30am.


Wednesday Nights

Our children have a great time at Adventure Kids Wednesday Nights. There are games, Bible stories, and activities for all. Classes begin at 6:30pm.

Children in Action - CIA


CIA is a before/after school program serving families in Burke County. We are a 4-star rated program and love our children! Our children are grade schoolers - 5 years old and up. We pick up after school at Drexel, Heritage, Mull, Salem, Valdese and Christ Classical Academy. Before school care drop off is available at Mull, Drexel and Heritage.

Worship & Creative Arts

The Worship and Creative Arts Ministry at M1COG consists of many facets and opportunities to serve. We regularly have a Worship Choir, which rehearses on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8pm (depending on the season), a Worship Band, which rehearses on Thursday nights from 7:30-8:30pm, a Praise Team, Seasonal Orchestra, Tech Ministry, and more!


Our goal is to respond to All that God is with All that we are. Come & and joins us in leading His people in Worship!
